Indications :
Povidone Iodine Ointment is used for the treatment of superficial skin infections, pustules, and ulcers. It is indicated for the disinfection of wounds, burns, and abscesses, and for the treatment of ringworm infections. It is also used for antiseptic skin preparation prior to surgical procedures.
Dosage and Administration :
- After cleaning the affected area with warm water and soap, dry thoroughly, then apply the ointment until complete healing.
- Apply the ointment directly to the wound and the surrounding area.
- Treatment may be repeated several times daily in cases of inflammation.
