Enrofloxacin
Enrofloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the fluoroquinolone group. It is highly effective in the treatment of infections caused by Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. It has activity against a wide range of pathogens including Mycoplasma, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Proteus, Yersinia, Serratia, Vibrio, Brucella, Chlamydia, and Staphylococcus species.
Indications :
Dematril10% is indicated for the treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal, respiratory, genitourinary, and other infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as Mycoplasma and Chlamydia.
Dosage and Administration :
Administer orally via drinking water.
Poultry: For prevention and treatment: 10 ml per 1 kg body weight or 50 ml per 100 liters of drinking water for at least 3 days.
In cases of Salmonella infection: treatment should continue for at least 5 days.
Sheep and Goats: 3 ml per animal.
Rabbits, Dogs, and Cats: 5 mg per kg body weight or (0.5–1 ml per 20 kg body weight) for 3–5 days depending on the severity of infection, such as Salmonella infection or severe respiratory infections
